"A plague doctor (Italian: physici epidemeie, Dutch: pestmeester, German: Pestarzt), was a special medical physician who saw those who had the bubonic plague. They were specifically hired by towns that had many plague victims in times of plague epidemics. Since the city was paying their salary they treated everyone, the rich and the poor. “Maybe It’s Contagious”
This has been sitting here pretty much finished for well over a month now … I don’t really remember what inspired it, but I think it may have been Sol’s idea … we just liked the imagery of a lolita-style plague doctor.
